In the process of present teaching, a great many of confusions about teaching are met. Therefore, a special winter vacation homework was assigned accordingly at the end of last term in 2015. That is, writing a composition, with the title The Experience of Learning Physics, not less than 1000 words. At the beginning of the next term, the students’first physical compositions were received, and it was found that the students did a great job on their homework. These compositions were just like a window, opening to the teacher’s eyes, to children’s hearts, and to a new outlook for the Physics etc. Then, a new hope about physics teaching was given and saw.Due to the above experience of teaching practice, this research topic was chosen, and put it into practice and research in present teaching. A large number of related literature was reviewed when carrying out the research. It is found that since 2006, a lot of physics teachers, many of whom are excellent physics teachers, have called for diversity of forms for physics homework one after another. A few of them are also trying to carry out a new form of physical homework. However, there is no one makes a special research for writing a composition as a new form of physical homework. Due to this reason, as a new form of physical homework, implementing and studying in writing a composition becomes more determined.After making a statistical analysis to the number of students’hand-in physical compositions, a law has been found:If the teacher communicate with the students who haven’t handed in their homework at the first time, letting them know the importance and the necessity of homework, making requirements and agreement for the homework, it can effectively reduce the bad phenomenon of non handing-in homework by students. On the contrary, if the teacher doesn’t pay attention to or communicate with the students who haven’t handed in homework at the first time, it may finally cause a few part of those students to develop a bad habit of thinking the teacher can’t do nothing with them even they don’t hand-in homework; hence they rarely hand in their homework from then on. This discovery is a surprising growth for a new teacher.After the students’ physical compositions having been studied and analyzed, it was found that writing a composition would stimulate students’ imagination, expand the breadth of students’ thinking and improve students’ writing skills. Through the physical compositions, the physics teachers can know the students’ mentation, thoughts, thinking level as well as understanding level of some physical laws currently. At the same time, teachers and students can communicate with each other, even can learn from each other and make mutual progress together. Therefore, it is believed that, Physical Composition, as a new form of physical homework, will promote the mutual growth between teachers and students effectively.
