The Influence Of American Film Culture On College Students’ Values And The Countermeasures

Under the background of economic globalization, China’s reform and opening to join the WTO, contact with the countries in the world are getting closer, this link includes not only economy, but also covers political and cultural aspects. In recent years, American film and television culture as a culture with a particular ideology, has its own intuitive, commercial and universal characteristics and quickly swept through China. The rapid development of American film and television culture in China, caused a huge impact on majority of youth especially college student. Although this effect with a positive guidance, but more of it is the role of negative. Young college students are the future and pillars of China’s socialist cause, has an immeasurable influence on the development of China’s socialist cause. Therefore it is necessary to take various measures to avoid and limit the American film culture’s negative impact on College Students’ values, to ensure that students adhere to the value orientation of socialism.The first part of this article from the meaning and characteristics of film and television culture, reveals the connotation of the American film and television culture from different angles, analyzes the deep value concept and the details.
