And the paper also analyzes the real value of its revival.The paper firstly elucidates Geng Jie’s reformation of Song Yang academy. Headed by Geng Jie went to built houses, gave to the field to help, this laid the material foundation for the revival of the academy development. Geng Jie riched the book collection, formulated the regulation of organization management, teaching management, student management, and other aspects for the academy in order to standardize the academy management. Geng Jie also hired famous confucian scholars to give lectures at that time. This attracted a large number of students to college to study, and also made the Song Yang academy to flourish.Subsequently, We explored the education characteristics from three aspects: teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching principles when Geng Jie presided over the Song Yang academy.
