Chinese writing teaching is very important in primary education. It has not only a profound impact on the development and mastery of pupils’verbal knowledge and ability, but also helps students understand the world and themselves. Chinese writing teaching also affects emotion and personality upbringing of the elementary school students. There are so many problems in the current teaching of writing, including the high standards for students, writing teaching contents which are defined too rigid, a stylized teaching process and other issues. All of these problems cause students to lose their interest, confidence and personality in writing, which restricts the development of students’ writing ability and personality.Postmodernism is a kind of popular cultural trends and philosophy, impacting across all areas in the late 20th century in Western society. It is opposed to dualism, emphasizing the diverse and heterogeneous coexistence; it fights against foundationalism and hegemony, and promote a democratic dialogue and uncertainty. Postmodernism denies the existence of the structure and promotes peace edge. It emphasizes individual experience, heterogeneous pursuits and uncertainty, and encourages dialogue and thoughts exchange.New Curriculum emphasized that students’interest and confidence in writing should be cultivated and enhanced.The basic idea of this paper is a study on the primary Chinese writing teaching basis and practical strategies on post-modern perspective.The purpose of the study is to seek enlightenment on the writing teaching strategies and find solutions to provide reference for the future effective implementation of Chinese writing teaching in primary school.This thesis consists of four parts:The first part is an introduction:this part introduced three basic reasons of topic selection. One is to solve the current problems of Chinese writing teaching; The second is the requirements of the new reform in elementary education curriculum of the writing teaching; The third is the post-modern inspiration. Also, this part introduced the significance of this study and explained the ideas and methods of this study. Finally, it reviewed the existing research.The second part:this part analyzed the current problems and harms to students in Chinese writing teaching in primary school. On this basis, it expounded the reasons for current writing teaching crisis from four aspects.Part III:this part briefly explained the basic concept of post-modern educational thoughts first. Then it explored the inspiration for primary school Chinese writing teaching, which based on the study of postmodern educational ideology.Part IV:this part put forward the suggestions of the implementation in primary school Chinese writing teaching, combined with actual teaching cases.
