Foreign language learning is a long-term process. It is a must for learners to insist for a long time. While learners’motivation is unstable. Therefore, effective motivational regulation strategies are particularly important for learners. However, at present, we lack the study on motivational regulation strategies. Based on the questionnaire survey, interview investigation, literature research, classroom observation and other educational methods, taking grade eight students in Long Yang center high school as research object, the paper carries out a month-long experiment on motivational regulation strategies with teachers’intervention training, doing an empirical research on the relationship of motivational regulation strategies and learning performance in junior English, in order to explore whether there is a significant correlation between them, and to attempt to provide inspiration for junior English teaching.This paper is divided into five parts.The preface is the study significance and interrelated summaries, and the introduction of research methods in this paper.The first part mainly defines the concept and introduces the classification.The second part mainly introduces the experiment, including experimental design and process. The experimental design mainly includes research objectives, research questions, research hypothesis, research tools and research program. Experimental process mainly includes project preparation and implementation.The third part is mainly the experiment result, including the result of questionnaire, test and investigation.The fourth part are conclusions and reflections. The author summaries the research result, including the characteristics of junior students’ motivational regulation strategies, and the inspiration for junior English teaching. Then the author reflects the experiment process, putting forward some important aspects which should be paid attention to in the experiment. At last, the author points out the limitations of this study, and expects the development of the future.
