The environmental crisis has become an major issue especially in China that the whole world has to face and that the modern people most worry about. Fortunately, however, the environment education is the key solution to this problem, in that it can shape and strengthen students’ consciousness of environment protecting.Revision of the People’s Republic of China Environmental Protection Law (January 1,2015 Implementation) as stipulated in Article 9 of the administrative departments of education and schools shall the knowledge of environmental protection into the content of school education, training students’ environmental protection consciousness.The general high school geography curriculum standard experiment textbook elective 6 is elective high school geography of the six modules. Its central theme is to protect environment; is to shape modern citizens the environment and resources view. It can solve the problem of contemporary population, resources and environment.The first part of the paper mainly discussed the research’s background, significance, status and methods. The second part analyzed curriculum standards of environmental protection. The third part analyzed and compared the four versions environment protecting textbook from the text, image and assignment. The fourth part compared the four versions environment protecting textbook based on the curriculum standards in order to analyze their degree of achievement of curriculum standards. The fifth part was the relative problems and suggestions.By the compared of four versions of environmental protection materials based on the curriculum standards requirements,, the author summarize the following problems:1. Teaching materials have convergence problems, contains the compulsory geography content convergence problems, and also junior high school geography content convergence problems.2.Part of the textbooks exist scientific problems. According to the problems existed in the different textbooks, the author put forward some suggestions:1. Increasing some interesting content in the first of the chapter, to arouse the students’interest 2. dealing with the image system and, have proper activity content 3. Increasing some contents at the end of the chapter. Etc..
