This article studies the effectiveness of the high school new geography teachers’ classroom management, aimed at providing improving effectiveness of classroom management strategies for new teachers of geography. The author collected a large number of literature on the management of teaching, summarizes the theoretical basis of effective classroom management, concept, function, content, and the management principle, provide theoretical basis for the research. During the education internship, I design the questionnaire from the geography classroom discipline management, geography classroom environment management, geography classroom process management these three aspects to investigate, analysis of experimental data. I contrast the new geography teachers with experienced teachers in geography classroom management, find out the shortage of new geography teachers’ classroom management and according to the theoretical basis and the deficiency of the research and interviews with relevant experts of geography teachers, I propose strategies for novice high school geography teachers improving the effectiveness of classroom management strategies.The author in order to study the problem, clarify the train of thought, using the following techniques determined. Through the literature method, the author first refer to the related literature about classroom management, found the theory study of classroom management angle is very much, but the systemic research on geography teaching classroom management is rare. The author summarizes the research achievements of classroom management, including classroom management theory, content, function, principle, to provide a theoretical basis for study of experimental research of this paper. Through the questionnaire investigation and interview method, I investigate the new high school geography classroom management in the status quo, interviews with experts geography teachers on geography classroom process management experience. Using comparative analysis method, I compare the novice teachers with the experienced geography teachers of geography classroom management and analyze, found the shortage of the new geography teachers in classroom management and problems. To solve these problems, I put forward strategies to improve the effectiveness of novice teachers improve class management.In this paper, the study found that new high school geography teachers in classroom management the main problems are:tending to maintain the collective discipline, lack of targeted individual education; Management for more direct rigid requirements, neglecting the students self-management; Emphasizing management behavior of college students, for students psychological environmental management performance is poor; Does not pay attention to the geography classroom harmony and variability of the physical environment; lack of teaching tact. In this paper, I analyze of the causes for this. According to the theoretical basis and the related expert geography teachers’ advice,I put forward strategies to solve these problems and improve the effectiveness of new geography teachers’ classroom management:by stimulating motivation to maintain classroom discipline, using positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement management discipline, building effective classroom discipline rule; Construction of psychological environment and equal relationship between teachers and students of love; To create a harmonious geography classroom physical environment; To improve their level of teaching management, optimizing the teaching process; By raising students’ ability of autonomous learning and self-discipline consciousness, developing the students’ ability of autonomous management and so on.
