Closing lessons is one of the essential links in geography classroom teaching.Raising geography teachers’ attention to the closing of lessons and optimizing the closing of geography classroom lessons will help to improve the teaching efficiency of geography and implement the educational value of geography core literacy.In this paper,the classroom observation method and questionnaire survey method are used to investigate and analyze the current situation of high school geography teachers’ classroom teaching closure,find out the existing problems and factors affecting the closure of geography class,and put forward targeted optimization strategies for the closure of geography class.This paper is divided into five parts:Part I:Introduction.The literature method is used to sort out the domestic and foreign research results on "course ending" and "geography course ending",clarify the research background and significance of this paper,and summarize the research status at home and abroad.According to the proposed problem,the analysis of the problem,solve the problem thinking,determine the research objectives,research route,and finally build the research framework of this paper.The second part:theoretical basis and basic concepts.The theoretical basis of this paper includes geography teaching theory,learning theory,primacy effect and recency effect,and Ebbinghaus’s law of memory forgetting.Defines the concept of "class summary "class conclusion" and "geography class conclusion",and makes clear the difference between "summary" and "lesson conclusion".According to the results of literature review,the design and implementation requirements of the geography class closure link are put forward.The third part:the current situation analysis of geography class closure.This paper uses the classroom observation method and the questionnaire survey method to investigate the current situation of the geography teacher’s classroom ending.Through the investigation,It is found that the current situation of geography teachers’ classroom lesson closure is not ideal,and there are some shortcomings:in the aspect of lesson closure design,geography teachers do not pay enough attention to the link of lesson closure,and the subject of lesson closure is insufficient;In the implementation of lesson closing,there are problems such as insufficient or no lesson closing time,monotonous lesson closing form,teacher-led lesson closing and low student participation.The influencing factors include:some teachers are not aware of the importance of lesson closure,lack of reflection on the study and summary of lesson closure,and lack of professional quality of teaching.The fourth part:the optimization strategy of geography class closure.In view of the problems found in the survey,this paper clarifies the basis of the selection of geography course closing method,and puts forward four optimization strategies in the course of course closing:learning improvement strategy,course closing design strategy,course closing implementation strategy,course closing reflection strategy.And each strategy is elaborated in detail.The fifth part:research conclusion and deficiency.The basic conclusions of this paper are summarized in terms of the concept of geography class closure,current situation analysis and optimization strategy.This paper points out that the sample of class record is not comprehensive,the current situation research needs to be further studied,and the effectiveness of the optimization strategy needs to be tested in practice,and puts forward the prospect for the follow-up research.
