Study On The Main Problems Of Teenagers In Our Country About Traditional Filial Piety Education And Countermeasures

The traditional filial piety as the core content and the main characteristic of Chinese traditional culture, has a long history in China. Being the major trait and the core of traditional Chinese ethics, filial piety has long been enjoying priority and regiment to the other merits in Chinese political and cultural fields.Therefore, filial piety education plays an important role in improving the moral cultivation of young people, promoting relations between the individual family members and pursuing the stability and harmony of Chinese society.But the current Chinese society is in the transition period, the political and economic system changes so that the traditional filial piety has lost the political security and economic basis.The several anti feudal movements in Chinese history have caused the Chinese filial piety culture faults in a period of time. Beside, Chinese society has not promptly established a sound and stable system of social moral. What’s worse, the impact of the multiple values caused by the policy of reform and opening to the outside world makes the filial piety consciousness in Chinese society become weak, the phenomenon of "missing filial piety" is constantly emerging.The youth reflect the morals of the whole society. They are the future constructors and successors of our motherland. Their moral cultivation determines the future of the spirit of the community. Therefore, the filial piety education of teenagers is becoming particularly important.This paper is divided into three parts:In the first part, this paper makes a thorough exposition on the historical evolution of the traditional filial piety, so as to better understand the connotation, status, role and other aspects of the traditional filial piety. Then, look towards critical and absorption to make the past serve the present through the connotation of traditional filial piety in-depth analysis.In the second part, a lot of data are obtained by means of reading materials, investigation and interview. The information and data collection come from the local several secondary schools in Wujiang area.The present filial piety education situation and characteristics of the adolescent is known through the analysis of the data. Then, the main problems of filial piety education for teenagers are summed up. These five aspects of factors that is historical reasons, social reasons, family reasons, school reasons, youth itself are summed up in the light of these problems by in-depth analysis.In the third part, on the basis of the previous studies, this paper brings forward improvement on the filial piety education from the four aspects of family education, school education, social education and policy support.
