Since the introduction of middle school Chinese Textbooks of foreign literature in the 1920s, since more than 100 years, foreign literature experienced a from no to have, quantity from less to more, choose the tattooist from narrow to wide. Foreign literary works as a carrier dissemination of diverse cultures in the world, it is Chinese people open the window of a fan to understand the rich and colorful of Outland culture. But many studies show that foreign literary works in the teaching practice is not as good as works of Chinese literature in popular, which except by the examination oriented education, as well as the drawbacks of foreign literature in a strange influence, selected works of foreign literature teaching is also an important factor, so study of high school Chinese Textbooks of foreign literature works selected is is badly in need of a subject.In this paper, published by people’s education press and Jiangsu Phoenix Publishing Education in 2007 two sets of "ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook language (Compulsory)" in the foreign literature works as the research object, try to through compare two sets of teaching materials of foreign literary works in the selection system, help reading system and practice system of the similarities and differences between the proposed suggestions about the selection of foreign literature works.This article is divided into three parts, the introduction, the body and the conclusion. Introduction describes the purpose and significance of research, research review, research ideas and methods, and explain the relevant concepts.The first chapter discusses the works of foreign literature in Chinese high school textbooks in the course of development, foreign literary works of selected standard and foreign literature education value.The second chapter analyzes the text selection system of two sets of teaching materials of foreign literary works of the similarities and differences.The third chapter compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between the two sets of foreign literature works of the reading system and practice system.Proposes some thoughts and suggestions on two sets of teaching materials of foreign literary works from the fourth chapter.The selection of foreign literature works in Chinese Textbooks of senior middle school should be further improved...
