Language training in reading instruction is more and more frequent in teaching. By the methods of literature research and case analysis, the paper expounds the connotation of language training: organizing language activities to help students understand the texts, which propels reading instruction course. Then some issues such as deflecting to linguistics or writing, even being not consistent with literature forms in reading instruction are analyzed in the thesis. Then phenomena root in the omission of pragmatic, mistake reading for the dependency of writing, and general reading concept. On the basis, the thesis deems that whether language training is successful or not is largely depends on the content, which based on the characteristic of literature forms. Then the paper lists the language training contents of different literature forms, including practical articles, literature and classical Chinese texts with the support of case analysis. As language training is fused in teaching stages, the thesis lists the applicative language activities in the stages of perceiving texts, refining words, comprehending themes and grasping writing characteristics, then analyzes the rationality and availability.
