Autonomous learning is on the basis of "learning" with "independent". The concept, which can be described as a step forward in the education sector, makes the process of acquiring knowledge be active. The initiative and enthusiastic learning can not only promote the improvement of students’ grade, but also lay a solid foundation for students’continuous learning and long-term development.According to the "basic education curriculum reform program (Trial)", we can see it encourages students to pay attention to their interests, enhance operational capacity, and strengthen the accumulation of information, study of new knowledge and the ability of solving problems and communicating with others. In order to achieve the requirement of curriculum reform, give students a solid foundation in the future and continuous learning, we have to change the old mode of classroom teaching, abandon boring process of learning, and set an important education goal of developing students’ability, teaching students to learn, especially cultivating students’autonomous learning ability. In present situation, traditional way of learning is the main part of the class, which is deviating of setting up the junior high school Chinese curriculum and training target. Therefore, it is necessary to change the teaching idea and methods, lay emphasis on cultivating students’autonomous learning ability in the language classroom teaching, so that this situation has been changed.According to the above discussion, this thesis has four important blocks:the first part expounds the importance and significance of cultivating students’autonomous learning ability based on education present situation and the curriculum reform demands, lists the research situation of scholars home and abroad, and define the concept of autonomous learning ability and the classroom teaching. The second chapter is the theoretical basis of the thesis, the junior high school Chinese classroom teaching in the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability of the theoretical basis and policy support. Theoretical basis include the theory of people-oriented and quality-oriented education. Policy support include the new lesson change cultivation of independent learning ability of Chinese new curriculum standards and the cultivation of independent learning ability of the Chinese proposal. The third chapter is the study of the practical basis, through questionnaire survey and interviews in the form of Chinese junior high school students’ autonomous learning ability in the survey, based on the analysis of the questionnaire, the effectiveness of training summary of junior middle school students autonomous learning ability, and discuss the cultivation of autonomous learning ability of students in Chinese classroom some problems in teaching, the teaching method is mainly the degree of attention of teachers and students autonomous learning ability cultivation of students’autonomous learning ability is not enough, the teaching environment is still not perfect, cultivate students’autonomous learning ability is relatively backward, and the lack of classroom teaching students self-learning ability evaluation system. The fourth chapter puts forward suggestions on how to cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability in the teaching of Chinese in junior high school from four aspects, such as classroom teaching concept, classroom teaching environment, classroom teaching method and classroom teaching evaluation.
