The new curriculum standards for junior middle school physics teaching to improve the students’ scientific literacy as the goal, pay attention to improve students’ ability to analyze problems and solve problems.The project-based learning is a real-life situation learning environment to explore specific issues centered learning model, with double characteristics of inquiry learning and research study. This method can effectively develop students’ scientific inquiry ability, information processing ability, knowledge comprehensive ability, learning so that the ability to use and innovative practice. Under the new curriculum, we have followed the traditional teaching methods,can not meet the demand for the development of the times personnel training, discussing the application strategy of the project-based learning in junior middle school physics teaching policy has an important practical significance.In this paper, literature research, questionnaire and interview as the main research methods. Firstly describes the background, purpose and significance, then analysis the current research, and explain the theory of the project-based learning. Demonstrate the feasibility of the project-based learning in junior middle school physics teaching. Through the analysis of current situation, questionnaires and interviews, we found that the current junior middle school physics teaching still more examination-oriented education, lack the link of the application of knowledge to solve practical problems in the real world, lack the link of guiding students to conduct periodic independent integrated, so resulted the separating of theory and practice, the lacking of students’ self-learning ability, the lack of innovative consciousness and innovative abilities.To analyze the causes of problems and influencing factors, combined with the advantage of the project-based learning, seeking the effective application of the project-based learning to solve the present problems in the current junior middle school physics teaching pertinence strategies:knowledge migration strategy, project to explore the strategy transformation strategy, exercises transformation strategy, and use the strategies into practical application to test the validity, to provide a reference for the practice of the project-based learning research proposals.The project-based learning application to the junior middle school physics teaching can effectively improve students’ knowledge of migration, self-learning ability, comprehensive practical ability. This method can effectively practice the concept of three-dimensional objects and the ideas of physics courses, it has a certain role in promoting the development of students’ innovative ability.
