| As affected by the traditional concept of education and the current environment of exam-oriented education, mathematics teaching pays close attention to the teaching of knowledge and skills. Most teachers think that mathematics is a very rational subject. It is difficult to treat mathematics from the perspective of the humanities in the actual teaching process. In fact, mathematics has a great influence on people’s life, thought, aesthetics, ideas and ways of thinking. No matter in material or spirit, mathematics is everywhere. Thus, the educational value of mathematics is not only to the scientific level, but also to the cultural level. The quality education advocated by the present and educational concept of making students learn mathematics for their ever since also make us have to carry on mathematics education from cultural perspectives. Therefore, according to the theory of subjectivity, humanism, constructivism and so on, this paper studies the present situation of mathematics culture education, for the main problems currently exists in the mathematical culture teaching, puts forward the effective strategies to infiltrate mathematics culture in the teaching.According to document-collected method, questionnaire survey, interviewing method and observation method, based on two aspects, teachers and students, and various angles, mathematics culture attainment of teachers and students, the attitude of teachers and students, educational environment, the influence of teaching materials etc, this paper investigates the present situation of mathematics cultural education in a middle school of Yanji city. Through the survey we found that the main problems existing in current mathematics culture education were as fellow: ①Teachers’mathematical knowledge and culture attainment is insufficient; ②Students’ understanding about mathematical culture is obscure, they often ignore the content of mathematical culture; ③The misunderstanding of teachers, school and the society. They thought that mathematical culture conflicts with the current examination system; ④The current teaching environment and teaching materials restrict the practice of mathematics culture education.According to analyzing and researching the investigation results, this paper puts forward the corresponding solving strategies:Strengthen the teachers’ mathematics cultural literacy; Pay great attention to the link between subjects in the process of teaching; Pay great attention to the teaching of mathematical thought and method; Assistant teaching of mathematical culture by the second classroom. Of course, the research on mathematics cultural education is a long-term process. It is still need to further explore and practice to solve the problems of mathematics cultural education drastically. |
