Health as a key issue of the early childhood development, has been the subject of widespread concern, and physical development as an important part of health, generally regarded as the primary objectives and tasks of pre-school education. Due to China’s vast territory, large population, the natural and human causes, there are differences in every aspect. In recent years, infants’physical condition has increased, at the same time, also showed significant regional differences, similar to the difference between this and other aspects, is due to geopolitical factors to a large extent. Promoting children’s health, beneficial and effective health education to children and treat early childhood physical development needs to form a common view, namely in geographical suitability based on the pursuit of quality. Only by knowing local children’s fitness, development, and influence the development of children’s physical geography can children’s health be prompted more geographically targeted.Physical anthropology believes that development of the human body is affected by many factors, including the environment, as well as the main factors. Early childhood is the most profound period of passive acceptance of the environmental impact, influenced by age, ability to limit itself to regulating periods, also a critical period of development. This period of physical development for children, will form the basis of life as a whole, for parents and society will be paid most attention, but for preschool educators they often feel overwhelmed, powerless. In the case of lack of targeted goals and recommendations, educators can only pass what they think is best applied to young children, and this perception often is not science, it may not be best suited to the local children’s physical development. This study adopts comparative method, understanding of Zhejiang Province and Jilin province to represent the physical development of young children in North and South, analysis of infant physical differences in North and South, from the point of view of geography revealing the reason for children’physical differences in North and South, and putting forward targeted proposals for the South and the North of early childhood education and health education. Studies have found that early childhood development is slightly worse on the body shape of the South in the North, while in the physical quality is significantly better than children in North, compared with early childhood development speed in the North increased after the age of 4. In addition, the South children’s body fat percentage is higher than the North children. On the basis of these differences in the genetic, mainly caused by, directly or indirectly, the natural and human environment, which aimed at a wide range of child care groups rather than individuals. Recommends that the development of preschool education under the existing conditions by controlling the activity, diet, lead to family concerns, such as adjusted to children’s physical development and child health education reform has some value.
