All along the teaching material is the basis of teachers, and sometimes even appear on the teaching material above the teacher’s phenomenon, which is a serious constraint to the level of teaching, With the development of the new curriculum reform, this phenomenon has been criticized by many experts and scholars. The new curriculum reform of basic education breaks the authority of the teaching materials. It is believed that the teaching material is the intermediary of the development of the students. It is a bridge between the teacher and the students; It also thinks that the teacher is actually the best teaching material, the teacher’s words and deeds will deeply influence the students. But facing the new curriculum reform has brought some new changes, some teachers or which continued the traditional teaching methods, many teachers to the new teaching concept, new teaching materials feel dazed and confused. Creative use of teaching materials as a new force is a powerful weapon in the struggle with the old concept, its value is that it can continue to absorb new ideas, and actively make adjustments in line with the trend of the times. Therefore, this paper takes the ideological and political textbooks as an example, combined with the actual situation of Ideological and political teachers to use the teaching materials, to study the creative use of teaching materials of Ideological and political teachers.The first part of the thesis starts with the meaning of the creative teaching materials of the ideological and political teachers, analyzes the characteristics of students’ subjectivity, creativity, flexibility and development, and then combines with the practical demonstration of the teachers and students.The second part of the thesis is the actual situation of the combination of Ideological and political teachers creative use of materials, starting from the perspective of Ideological and political education, summed up the equivalent to the teaching material content additions and adjustments, can only be used for in new teaching or import link, pay too much attention to the need of entering a higher school and ignore the students’ need and form of blind pursuit of novelty and variety of four misunderstandings.The third part of the thesis is on the basis of the summary of errors, from the teachers’ position, time, attribution, methods of analysis ideological and political teachers creatively use the restricting factors in the textbooks, in order to identify the creative use of materials the root cause.The fourth part is mainly combined with the previously mentioned errors and restricting factors, from a practical situation, the integration of teaching materials, students, path four aspects to expand ideological and political teachers’ creative teaching strategies were analyzed using, provide teachers with practical significance.
