English education is a basic project of our primary and secondary schools carrying out quality education. Information age has not only accelerated the global economy integration, but also enhanced the international status of English as the world's common medium of communicationThough after years of exploration and practice China's foreign language education has accumulated a great deal of theory and experience, there are still many shortcomings,For example there is still a lot of problem to be solved in education convergence among universities , senior and elementary schools, which directly results in a lot of waste of educational resources, a not real implementation of curriculum standards at all levels as well as goals of education .Therefore, in order to raise the level of foreign language education in China, it's an inevitable trend to carry out a series of reform .Primary and secondary school English integration project, which is one of the many English education reforms, plays an important role.The project which focus on students' abilities of learning English, communication skills and the development of innovative capacity is a basic, comprehensive, systematic education program.With the aim of improving the current poor condition of Primary and secondary school English integration and strengthening cooperation between them so as to improve the efficiency and level of English language teaching And the purpose of promoting "people-oriented" spirit of humanism, the harmonious development of the human personality and mining innovation potential, It is exploring and constructing a new innovative teaching theories and models and constantly improving them by abandoning the traditional English teaching,Construction of foreign language teaching materials is an important part of the reform , which will bring about changes in teaching methods. The excellent teaching material is the embodiment of the teaching ideas , objectives, content and teaching methods .Building materials is a systematic, comprehensive and scientific project, which is necessary to follow the syllabus and curriculum standards and the basic principles of development of teaching materials. The current focus is on the thinking over and solution to the convergence problem. The evaluation of teaching materials is supposed to according to a double standard of the efficiency and the effect, which Will provide help for the smooth implementation of reformsThe subject of this study focuses on the reform of teaching materials, construction and implementation in the process of carrying out Primary and secondary school English integration project. On the basis of research of domestic and abroad theory of building materials and through by surveys, interviews with teachers and teaching diaries, the study has analyzed and understood the development, construction and use of English-teaching materials , find out the major factors have been impacted on building material and problems existing in the process of implementation and conduct a feasibility analysis about measures to deal with these issues.Survey results show that: With the deepening of reform, building materials become a topic of increasing concern, an important factor affecting the success of education reform. Some new materials (such as convergence version of the materials) are emerging and have applied in practice. Most of the teachers and students' satisfaction on the currently used material has improved, but the continuity of the various stages of teaching materials can not meet the current needs of education.Solving the problem of the current English teaching materials, first of all , we need to promote the creative use of materials which requires teachers to apply flexible and diverse teaching methods and means to implement the teaching to make up for a number of shortcomings by understanding the objectives of teaching, the materials and students. Second, we are supposed to promote teachers' participation in school-based research about the construction of teaching materials, that is, teachers develop school-based English language teaching materials that are suitable for the region and the school, which reflects the spirit of the national, regional and tertiary school curriculum management, to meet the needs of our English language education and provide experience for a new round of the country's building materials...
