Learning environment is a kind of teaching design based on the teaching environment and teaching situation,whose main characteristic is the theory on the strength of constructivism and modern information technology.Constructivism’s learning environment design is the one that focuses on students’ learning as the core. The traditional teaching is teachers-centered in which teachers have the authority in the teaching process. While constructivism learning environment provide certain conditions where the students’motivation get inspired, and help them to change their learning attitude, as well as become more spontaneous to update their knowledge reserves and devote to strengthen their exploring ability, creative ability, and cooperation ability. The theory of constructivism learning environment design obtain a profound foundation, and there are a lot of related domestic and international document to draw upon.Constructivism learning theory is formed on the basis of the behavioral learning theory and cognitive learning theory This study was conducted for the constructivism learning environment design practice and experimental research in the high school chemistry teaching and establish an open and suitable studying circumstance so that the effect of the high school chemistry teaching could be improved in this learning environment. Literature method, interview investigation, questionnaire survey, and experimental method was used in this study.Through the combination of the several research methods, a new chemical learning environment could be finally designed starting with the traditional learning environment, and analyzing the chemistry learning environment of constructivism.This study is divided into six parts to discuss as follows. The first part tells the reasons why this topic is chosen as the research object, what’s the detailed description of the research,what is the meaning and purpose of the intention, and analysis and research for domestic and foreign literature about constructivism. The second part summarizes the theory basis of constructivism chemical learning environment, as well as analyses the connotation of constructivism learning environment and chemistry teaching. The third part focuses on the investigation and analysis on the current situation of high school chemistry teaching, the analysis of current chemistry classroom learning environment design and practice, and summery of the existing problems in the high school chemistry teaching in our country at present. The fourth part discusses the principle, content, procedures and strategies about the constructivism learning environment of high school chemistry teaching.With authenticity and enlightening, subjectivity and cooperative, diverse reflective principle, the chemistry classroom learning constructivism learning environment is formed. The fifth part designs specific cases of chemical learning environment of constructivism teaching and has carried on the experimental study.The sixth part tells the conclusion of the study and the expectation from the author of this topic.It is very significant to create conditions and make full use of existing conditions to create a good learning environment so as to support and promote students to study effectively. which enables the students to make knowledge construction voluntarily under such condition.
