Study On Developing Status And Sustainable Development Of School Football Activities In Taizhou

Children are the future of the Chinese football, the hope of the Chinese football is in schools. More football activities should be organized in schools to let more and more children like football and participate in football matches, which will improve the Chinese football level. The State Sports General Administration and Ministry of Education both implemented the national youth football activity at 2009. The national youth football activities have been extended most of the country during these years and result in the increasing the number of participants and the growing influence now.Sustainable development is a common goal in different areas for all countries of the world. Since the school football is a part of sports, it must keep up with the development of the world and adhere to sustainable development. It is an extension for the sustainable development theory to introduce the basic idea of the sustainable development into school football and apply the theory to practice.On the base of reading and analyzing a lot of researches on school football activities both at home and abroad, this paper studies the development status of the school football in Taizhou city by using literature, interviews, questionnaires, observation and mathematical statistics. This paper takes schools who participate in the school football activities as the research object. What’s more a system for sustainable development of school football is built in this paper according to sustainable development theory and system scientific theory, and the system is divided and analyzed finally.According to the analysis and investigation above, we find that there are still some problems exciting in the school football activities of Taizhou, moreover, we propose some measures for the sustainable development of the school football activities, and finally draw some conclusions:(1) The government of Taizhou pay much attention to the implementation of the school football activities.The education bureau and the sports bureau of Taizhou set up the union lead group of school football. The school football office, an administrative office under-controlled by the lead group, actively organize the school football activities, innovate the activity form, and establish the sound assessment mechanism. Through the efforts of all aspect of related people, the school football activities have implemented extensively and have made much progress. (2) The organized forms of the school football activities in Taizhou include football activities in school, culture festival of football in school, football union match in school and other kinds of meaningful activities. Now, the activities of the school football which include the primary school, the junior high school, and the high school in Taizhou, are implemented very well, and the match system of these three league become more and more perfect. (3) The school football activities get lager and the participants become more in Taizhou. More students participate in the football activities, the duration of each participation is longer, can basically meet the requirements of the school football office,50% of students spend at least two hours per week on football activities. (4) The football coaches in Taizhou’s school football activities are generally characterized by younger, high education level and strong responsibility. (5) There is a good foundation of politic and economic, and well cultural atmosphere. (6) However, a few problems in the process are as follows. The operating mechanism is not smooth and the competition system is imperfect, football fields are poor of quality and activities suffer from fund shortage, part of the school leaders don’t pay enough attention to the school football activities, school football coaches are short in skills, parents actually lack the full full understanding of the school football activities, and leaders are limited in determination and innovation.
