Research On Consumption Value Of Senior High School Students In Tianjin

High school is an important part of the adolescent students. It is an important stage in the formation of the concept of value.In order to make the senior high school students grow up as qualified citizens, we should enable them to have the correct value. At the same time the consumption value is an important part of value. Therefore, it is necessary for the growth of the senior high school students to discover the characterics of consumption and find the strategies of education.We investigated three grades of 4 high schools in Tianjin, including:Tianjin Nankai High School, Tianjin No.2 Middle School, Tianjin Lutai No.1 Middle School and No.6 High School in Binhai New Area of Tianjin. Based on the summary of the questionnaire, the author has analyzed consumption idea, consumption behavior, consumption structure and the circumstance of consumption. The analysis suggests that there are some problems in the consumption:unreasonable structure of consumption, heavy material consumption and light spiritual consumption, human consumption, no plans for consumption and lack the ability of financial management, serious herd mentality and comparing phenomenon. The author list the causes of the problems, such as, the influence of social environment, the absence of school education, the influence of home circumstances and individual cause, which includes comparing, vanity and herd mentality.The author put forward some education strategies to establish the correct consumption values:1. Strengthen the publicity of media to form to create a good environment of consumption.2. Take advantage of the school-based curriculum to carry out the education about dream and encourage the students to undergo spiritual consumption..3. Establish the view of proper consumption to develop the ability of financial management.
