Over the years, accounting skills competition of the vocational school carrying out among all the provinces and cities, experts study on developing students’ literacy, improving teachers’ quality promoting curriculum construction and etc. from skills competition.The lecture analyses skills competition’ goals and characteristics and it states that the skills competition affects the educational goal of the students in vocational school, the construction of course system, the teachers’ quality, skills training, school-enterprise cooperation and etc. Based on Hengshui Technology and Engineering school as a focal point, the lecture applies the question-and-answer survey, interviews, data location and etc. to study on the skills competition of the vocational school. And then the author finds that the participation rate is low and that the competition results are imbalanced and that the competition and teaching don’t match well. The reasons why these situations exist are that training program of accounting is lack of the times and normalization and that the educational hardware and software are relatively weak and that the students are lack of learning initiative.In order to solve these problems, these schools should construct teaching management that the skills competition promotes teaching improvement. Through the skills competition, the vocational school can know about the requirement of industry and enterprise, and work out the scientific and reasonable program of training qualified people to make the educational goal of the accounting in vocational school be more accurate and to optimize the course system gradually. The vocational school can build high-quality teachers team and improve the teaching equipment and training base to promote the teaching ability. It can improve the teaching mode and method and establish the students’ measurement system of openness, diversification and entire process to motivate the students.At last, the lecture is based on improving the construction of the accounting system in vocational school and look far ahead into the future of skills competition of accounting: the skills competition of accounting must follow closely the standard of the enterprise and be close to the social requirements. The skills competition of accounting should lay over all the students and the teachers of the accounting. And it should combine with obtaining certificates. The vocational school should include the skills competition into the educational goal of the accounting talents and internalizes the skills competition into serving the society and make it become the norm in every vocational school to develop practical teaching.
