The Research And Practice Of Students’ Moral Education In Secondary Vocational School Based On Wechat Public Platform

Today, as the widely usage and rapid development of mobile media, We-chat has gradually become an important media tool. We-chat, which is open and has diversity functions, makes it the most favorite phone application among professional students. Due to the widely usage in professional students, We-chat has unexpected impacts on professional students such as their outlook on the world, on the life and values, which has affected their thought process and daily behaviors.With the development of modern information technology, traditional teaching methods are no longer able to achieve the ideal of ideological and political education. Using we-chat as the platform, educators should be able to utilize this medium to gradually affect the thinking and values of students, thereby achieving the educational goals.This article’s research is based on Modern Theory of Education, Communication Theory and different functions of we-chat; it analyzes how “Beijing Student Union” and “Beijing Youth” etc. utilized we-chat to educate. This research, also based on the current situation in our college, has designed and developed “BeiJing Supply and Marketing Institute”, a we-chat public platform. This application has multiple modules such as news broadcast, campus times, student associations’ management, etc. In one year, the program has undergone beta trial testing, adjustments, and then the final version was implemented. Results and analysis of the use of this novel platform has shown that it has positively affected and strengthened the education of students.
