In the four basic language skills, writing can express one’s thoughts or feelings, and it should be an integral and important part of one’s scheme in learning English. However,traditional English language teaching tends to train the four language skills separately,which is not conducive to the development of students’ ability to use the language comprehensively. It is known that one of the English curriculum general aims is to develop the junior students’ ability to use language. This paper advances the integrating listening, speaking, reading in junior school in order to promote the students’ English writing level.This paper will be presented in four parts. At first, a brief introduction, the background and the importance of this research has been presented in the first chapter. In the second part, author explained the whole language teaching and does a simple review of some related influential research on writing teaching both at home and abroad. In the third chapter, questions of integrating listening training and writing teaching, the integrating of speaking training and writing teaching, the integrating of reading training and writing teaching and listening, speaking, reading training with writing teaching in junior school have been discussed. In the fourth chapter, testing method were administered to teachers and students in grade eight in Xiangjiang Secondary School, this included questionnaire, students’ interviewing and testing method. In the end, a conclusion of this paper has been made. After using this teaching method, the result of these experiments show that this type of teaching can promote the students’ comprehensive ability of using language, and it can better stimulate students learning enthusiasm, confident and the initiative. This method also helps teachers to improve themselves.
