English writing is the key to English teaching,and it is also one of the biggest difficulties.Traditional classroom English teaching method is the spoon-feeding way of teaching.Teachers conduct a comprehensive and detailed explanation of vocabulary,grammar and so on according to the teaching syllabus.And students understand passively and compulsively according to the teacher's explanation,and even have mechanical memory.Such teaching achievements mostly depend on the frequency of repeating knowledge of the teachers and students' motivation to learn English.Obviously this is not a good teaching method.Therefore,in the long-term of trial,I try out new teaching methods in English teaching in order to improve students' English achievements and teaching quality.“The teaching model of integrating reading with writing ” is a kind of writing teaching model with better effect through my trial,which refers to the writing based on the original reading materials.In other words,reading and writing should be taught in combination.Promote writing skills through reading.Obtain large amounts of language knowledge and expression habits from the reading.These are internalized and rebuilt,and we get the output of the writing contents which are in line with the language rules and expression habits.This study is based on the analysis of composition teaching of Class 4 and Class 10 in Grade 3 in No.76 Middle School in Harbin,on the basis of the language Input and Output Hypothesis Theory and Transformation Generating Theory as well as previous studies of the teaching model of integrating reading with writing as a research framework,through contrast experiment teaching,to explore the role of the teaching model of integrating reading with writing in English writing teaching in junior high schools.The research objects of this study are Class 4 and Class 10 in Grade 3 in No.76 Middle School in Harbin.There are 111 students in total.Class 10 is the experimental class,and Class 4 is the contrast class.After 12 weeks,a total of 72 class hour teaching experiment,the overall English grades in experimental class with the teaching model of integrating reading with writing are higher than the contrast class with traditional teaching method.In the aspect of words,sentences and articles,scores were significantly improved.In the academic year exam,compared with the experimental class and contrast class,the grade in experimental class was 9.01 points higher on average,pass rate was 14% higher,excellent rate was 21% higher,the highest and lowest points are better.The experimental results show that the teaching model of integrating reading with writing used in junior high schools' English writing teaching is very significant.It can not only improve the teaching quality,stimulate students' learning motivation,and get rid of the bottleneck of studying,but also develop students' language sense and bring students' subjective initiative into play.Through this,students' English writing ability will happen qualitative leap.
