The training of reading ability is an important part of junior middle school Chinese teaching, it is the basis and guarantee for one’s lifelong study. However, in real teaching activities, junior middle school Chinese teaching had not been given enough attention, there are also many disadvantages. Therefore, Middle school Chinese reading teaching becomes a hot topic during Chinese education workers. This paper will study the status quo of training the reading ability of junior high school students in Baota district by questionnaires, and analyze the problems and deficiencies, explore the causes of these problems, and give suggestions and measures in improving and strengthening the reading ability of junior middle school students.Except the foreword and epilogue, this paper can be roughly divided into the following five aspects:One, describes the reasons why I chose this topic.Two, the questionnaires and analysation of reading ability of junior high school students. This section is an important part of this paper. First, I made ten questions according to my target, and 400 junior middle school students has carried on the questionnaire survey. Through the statistics and analysation of the results of the questionnaire, I find out the problems and deficiencies existing in the reading ability of current junior middle school students, also find out the causes of these problems.Three,It is a transitional part, summarise the reading ability of foreign and domestic students. I will make a berief demonstration about the current reading ability training situation of junior high school students from abroad and home.Four, ways to train their reading ability.This is the core part of my paper. According to the problems existing in junior middle school students reading ability at present,I think we can improve from flowing aspects: First, change the concept of training reading ability of junior middle school students,Including to understand the meaning of reading correctly, and to change people’s,teachers and schools’ education concept;Second, create a good atmosphere for training junior high school students reading ability, including society and family,also we should establish standard method for evaluating reading courses; third,we should strive to expand the junior middle school students extracurricular reading activities, Specifically, on one hand,we should inspire and mobilize the students’ interest in reading, on the other hand,we should do extracurricular reading recommendation well, what’s more, we need to build students’ extracurricular reading a good atmosphere;Finally, change the teaching method of reading, specifically, using classified teaching, strengthening the guidance of classroom reading teaching, raising good reading habits.Five, implications of regular Chinese language teaching. mainly focus on the Chinese Language Teaching Method Transformation ’s influence falls on the Junior high school Chinese teaching and innovation.The study analyzed the problems which keep junior students form improving reading skills through present middle school Chinese teaching practice. Recommendations was proposed to improve the middle school student’s reading ability as well as enhance the overall education effectively, Thereby promoting the reading skills of whole people by my own modest contribution.
