The rapid development of information and communication technology, coupled with the popularity of smart mobile equipment, promotes the vigorous development of online education, and the way of learning is becoming more intelligent, diverse, and flexible. Micro-course with the characteristics of short and flexible is very suitable for mobile-learning environment, and it meets the needs of people’s learning better. The development of micro-course brings transformative evaluation on the ways of learning, teaching practice and resources construction. It will strongly promote the reform and innovation of education, contribute to the personalized learning, collaborative learning and so on.Firstly, the thesis combines the mobile learning with the micro-course, analyses the concept and connotation of them, briefly introduces the history of mobile learning and micro-courses, discussing the joint point. Then, the thesis studies the typical cases for reference, elucidates the related theories:behaviorism, constructivism, connectionism, which provide a theoretical foundation of the design and development of micro-course. Afterwards, summarizing from resource construction, learning environment and media design, the thesis discusses the basic principles of the instructional design and development of micro-course in m-learning environment. Besides, it presents the instructional design and development model of micro-course, which including the pre-analysis, micro-course design, micro-course development and implementation, micro-course evaluation, and analyses them in detail.On the basis of theoretical analysis, combining with the principle and model of micro-course instructional design, the thesis analyzes and practices the micro-course cases. Through the designing of the national excellent course "pathology" in micro-course model, the thesis implements and summarizes the previous research, in order to provide a certain reference for the design and development of micro-course.
