In the process of the development of mass higher education in our country, along with the rapid expansion of education scale, the higher education quality has not been corresponding promotion, personnel training quality in colleges and universities become the focus of social attention. Curriculum, as the core of college education and teaching, is the embodiment of the purpose and goal of education, the quality of the curriculum restricts the quality of college personnel training, improve the quality of our courses is the key to the improvement of higher education quality. At present, the college curriculum quality evaluation is more emphasized on the investigation to the scheme and course resources, and less attention to the students participation in the course, unable to understand whether these scheme and course resources fully used and translated into learning for students. Student Engagement as an effective way of curriculum quality evaluation, more attention to students’ actual learning process and learning experience, to reflect the real college problem of the quality of the course, and helps to take targeted measures to improve the teaching quality in colleges and universities, promote the development of students.By combing the literature found that the existing research problems of the quality of undergraduate course has carried on the thorough analysis, Most of these studies, however, just for one aspect of the curriculum quality problems, systemic is not enough; At the same time, the quantitative research is short, and the quality of undergraduate course is not enough from the perspective of student engagement.Therefore, From the perspective of college students’ learning engagement, through the questionnaire survey method, this study taking the undergraduates of a comprehensive university as the research object, investigated the present situation and problems of curriculum goal, curriculum content, curriculum implementation process and results of curriculum implementation in colleges and universitiesOverall, undergraduate course quality is low, there is still large room for improvement. Through the analysis of the differences between different groups of college students in the quality of the curriculum, Found that girls in the objective to experience is significantly higher than boys; At the same time, in the course content and curriculum implementation process on the experience of city college students were significantly better than the countryside or town college students; In addition, between different professional students, humanities and social sciences on the experience of college students in the course objectives to achieve significantly higher than engineering college students. However, there is no significant difference in the perception of curriculum objectives, curriculum content, curriculum implementation and curriculum implementation results of different grades. Through the further analysis found that the undergraduate course quality mainly exist in the following problems: higher-order cognitive goals reached degree low, undergraduate curriculum content is obsolete, teaching process is lack of interaction and feedback, and undergraduate course learning participation degree is low.The reasons can be summarized in the following aspects: the concept of knowledge based curriculum is still dominant, the undergraduate curriculum management system is not perfect, as well as the university teachers’ curriculum teaching ability and students’ learning ability is insufficient. Based on the above analysis, this study puts forward the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures to solve the problems in the course quality of university. One is to establish student-centered curriculum concept. The full development of student body and mind as the ultimate goal of course, in terms of curriculum content selection and organization to be able to meet the demand of diverse students, pay attention to the dialogue and communication in the process of curriculum implementation. Two is to improve the undergraduate course management system. Giving students’ participation in curriculum development power, enhance the flexible management in the process of curriculum implementation. Three is to improve the university teachers’ teaching academic ability. Four is to cultivate college students’ autonomous learning ability.The innovation of this research lies in: first, from the perspective of student engagement, the paper analyzes the quality of the curriculum in universities, and the two is to make a comprehensive analysis of the quality of the curriculum through the empirical investigation.
