The career of teaching chinese as a foreign language in new china has beginning in the 1950’s,after the development about half a century, we have made considerable progress, especially in recent years, with the establishment of the Confucius Institute, Chinese language and Chinese culture has spread rapidly around the world, people marvel at learnning complex characters, but also did not forget to express their heartfelt feelings of loving Chinese culture. As a volunteer who has been to the Philippines in 2014, I also deeply felt that their students were full of curiosity about our culture during my teaching practice, they want to learn cultural lessons in order to learn more about the "mystery" China in their eyes. However, in the continuous explore process of teaching cultural class, I realized that the specific cultural lesson materials from our country are too difficult and always short of activity for the local elementary level student.They look boring overall, but there are no suitable materials available for local students. In this case, the author has an ideas to design a cultural lesson material for the Philippine public high school students of the primary Chinese stage.Based on the investigation of the Philippine public high school student’s learning needs and the volunteer teacher’s teaching needs,we deside to make "understanding preliminary Chinese cultural knowledge,developing practical ability and creativity and auxiliary studying Chinese ontology knowledge" as the writing objectives,in the same time,we take their school’s teaching hours into account, forming the teaching meterial design of primary stage Chinese Culture class eventually. The innovation of this paper is to make the cultural projects as outline in form,and let Chinese ontology knowledge around the culture; meanwhile,combine with the Philippines national culture in content, which can stimulate students’ motivation for learning better. This article is aim at trying to design the cultural lesson material for the Philippines students who study Chinese, and to provide some teaching materials for the local volunteer teachers, which can help their cultureclass teaching have materails to follow.
