With the rapid development of mobile Internet and the application innovation of smart terminal equipment,the media ecology has undergone tremendous changes.The widespread use of ubiquitous networks and new media has become a new symbol of the network society,indicating the arrival of the new media era.The new media era is a news form of the Internet era,using simple text,vivid images,original videos,etc.for instant and efficient information dissemination,which is based on the rapid development of the Internet,smart terminals,social media,etc.,uses modern communication technology,audio-visual communication technology,big data,cloud computing and other means,and is symbolized by widely using new media such as WeChat,Weibo,digital broadcasting,online video,etc.The new media has triggered new trends and new ideas,providing a new platform and carrier for the theme education of colleges and universities,and also has an important impact on the ideological behaviors and social psychology of college youth,which greatly impacts their original value system and behavioral concepts,bringing opportunities as well as challenges to theme education in colleges and universities.Ideological and political education workers in colleges and universities need to keep up with the trend of new media,paying attention to the profound changes brought by new media technologies to the theme education environment of college students,thinking about how to use new media technologies flexibly to innovate the ways and means of college students’ theme education,and carry out theme education with fruitful results for college students.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into five chapters,according to the writing framework of theoretical premise-the reality basis-comprehensive innovation-the empirical analysis to study the theme education innovation in the new media era.Firstly,guided by Marxist theory,the paper comprehensively analyzes the theoretical basis of the theme education innovation of college students in the new media era by comprehensively using the relevant knowledge of communication,psychology and journalism.Then it systematically sorts out the opportunities&challenges,development process,and realistic form confronted by college students’ theme education in the new media era.According to the thinking of "what to carry out-how to carry out-result" of the theme education,the content system innovation,operational mechanism innovation and evaluation system innovation of the theme education of college students in the new media era are put forward.Each innovation section selects various types of new media theme education cases for analysis.The specific research content is as follows.The first part,the theoretical premise: the theoretical elaboration of the theme education innovation of college students in the new media era.In a deliberate way,theoretical definition and theoretical considerations are given to the basic concepts,characteristics,type,function and principle of the new media,the new media era and the theme education.It analyzes the essential provisions of the theme education of college students in the new media era,and puts forward its concept and characteristics and the changed and unchanged factors of the theme education of college students in the new media era.The theoretical basis of this topic is explained from the Marxist theory of communication,contradiction theory,practical theory,indoctrination theory,Xi Jinping’s important exposition on ideological and political education and new media and communication theory.From the theoretical level,it analyzes the mechanism of the theme education of college students in the new media era.It believes that theme education is an educational practice.When the educational object participates in the process of proceduralization of specific theme education,under the active guidance and heuristic role of the education subject,the subject and object of education form a set of values.After five stages of value guidance,perceptual motivation,rational interaction,self-improvement and value internalization,the educational object realizes the recognition and acceptance of the value of the theme education and transforms into behavioral practice,and systematically analyzes the whole process of mechanism of action.The second part,the realistic evidence: opportunities and challenges,development process,activity effectiveness,main problems and cause analysis of the theme education of college students in the new media era.From the perspectives of concept,carrier,field and efficiency,this paper analyzes the opportunities faced by college students in the new media era,and analyzes the challenges faced by college students in the new media era from the perspective of authority,integrity,organization and controllability.It systematically combs the development context and characteristics of college students’ theme education in the portal era,search era,sharing age and social age.From the dialectical relationship between instrumental rationality and value rationality,it summarizes the experience of colleges and universities using new media to carry out the theme education of college students.On the basis of field research and questionnaire survey,the main problems faced by the subject education in the new media era are: the concealment of the educational object led by formalization;the narrowing of the educational value led by utilitarianization;the deviation of the educational goal led by reproduction;the separation of educational resources led by transformation.From the lack of long-range,normativeness,synergy,and evaluationof new media theme education,the deepseated causes of the problem are analyzed.The third part,comprehensive innovation: the content system,operation mechanism and evaluation system innovation of college students’ theme education in the new media era.According to the theme of “what to carry out – how to carry out – result”,the content system innovation,operational mechanism innovation and evaluation system innovation of college students’ theme education in the new media era are proposed.In terms of content system innovation,according to the talent development goal of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor development,the paper integrates the design of the theme education content system in the new media era,and proposesthat the content system includes moral education system,intellectual education system,sports system,aesthetic education system,and labor education system.At the same time,with the help of new media technology,a new media presentation of the theme education content system of the new media era is carried out,and the process of the new media presentation of the theme education content is systematically reviewed.The paper discusses the integration design of the subject education content system and the new media presentation of the educational content with the theme education of "The Descendants of the Sea",and combs the workflow and its internal operation process of the college studetns’ theme education based on WeChat push.In the innovation of operational mechanism,the topic education system interactive reference model(TESI)is proposed,which is an interconnection reference model based on the theme education in the new media environment.It represents a logical norm of the theme education from formation to practice,detailed analyzes the model from the topic layer,the education theme layer,the topic education layer,the transport layer,the conversation layer,the presentation layer,and the practice layer,and verifies the rationality,science and usefulness of the model with the theme education case of "Let’s Talk About Marx for Those Born After 1990".In the innovation of evaluation system,the value implication and basic principles of the evaluation system innovation are expounded.Based on the analytic hierarchy process-gray correlation degree comprehensive evaluation method,the evaluation index system of college students’ theme education in the new media era is constructed to discuss how to quantitatively evaluate the college students’ theme education in the new media era.With the theme education case of "Learning New Thoughts,Tens of Thousands of Teachers and Students at the Same Lesson",it verifies the scientific and rationality of the evaluation index system,sorts out the workflow of theme education based on webcast,and explores the development direction of mobile-based theme education.
