Mathematics is the important constituent of human culture. It takes the mathematics history as the carrier to make mathematics teaching prominent. To integrate mathematics history into mathematics teaching has got more and more concern and attention not only by Mathematics education practitioner but also by Mathematics education researchers. The purposes of studying the problem of integrating mathematics history into mathematics teaching are: from the perspective of Mathematics, it deepens the understanding of mathematics and better promote the development of mathematics in the future; from the perspective of teaching, by the interaction of mathematics history and mathematics education, teaching quality and enhance students’ learning of Mathematics Teachers.First is to select Zhenjiang Vocational Technical College as the research object.Using investigation and interview to seek the problems and difficulties in integrating mathematics history into mathematics teaching; secondly, through literature analysis and experience summary, based on the study of mathematics education thought,teaching theory and learning theory, four basic principles about integrating mathematics history into mathematics teaching are proposed: "authenticity" and "rationality principle", "principle of interest" and "flexibility" principle; finally, a semester of teaching experiment will be done in order to test the effectiveness of integrating mathematics history into mathematics teaching.The conclusion of the study is that: First, if you can grasp the opportunity and the way of integrating the mathematics history into mathematics teaching, you can stimulate students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning and improve learning efficiency. Second, teachers should realize the education value of mathematics history.In accordance with the the principle of authenticity, rationality, interest and flexibility,teachers could select, combine, process the content of mathematics history which can be integrated into mathematics teaching, and construct a teaching procedures about integrating mathematics history into mathematics teaching. Third, teachers shouldhave high viewpoints of mathematical knowledge.It is a long term process to study how to integrate mathematics history into mathematics teaching in higher vocational colleges. However, because of the limitation of time and researcher’s ability, there still are many aspects needing to be done more thorough and deeply. So I need continuous learning and improvement to make up my own shortcomings.
