Study On The Counselors’ Construction Of Higher Vocational College In Sichuan Province

Nearly four decades of reform and opening-up, the higher vocational education of our country has achieved leaping development. And in terms of our country’s development, that has developed many excellent people who have certain theoretical accomplishments and certain skills in specific fields. However,for one thing, many higher vocational colleges not only are formed by combining the existing technical secondary schools or technical schools, or established by the original educational schools, but also their educational philosophy and training mode are adopted from the previous colleges’ methods and forms, so that these schools can not well catch up with development of the new situation; For another,the developmental history of higher vocational colleges is relatively short, so there do exist a long way of exploration. for the ideological and political education of students and students’ managementThe counselor plays many vital roles in the higher vocational college education, such as the backbones, the organizers, practitioners and mentors in terms of students’ ideological and political education and management, thus it is imperative to build a professional, reasonable, and qualified counselor team,under the new characteristics of higher vocational colleges.The paper, on one hand, is aimed to analyze and explore the existing problems of the counselor team construction of higher vocational college in Sichuan province with the standpoint of Marxism and the concept of people-oriented. On the other hand, combined with beneficial educational experience of other higher vocational colleges, the paper puts forward some reasonable and effective countermeasures, in order to further improve the students’ ideological and political education of higher vocational colleges as well as to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the higher vocational colleges in Sichuan province and even the whole country.
