Study On The Countermeasures Of Professional Construction Of Counselors In Higher Vocational Colleges In Hebei

The eighteenth meeting of the Standing Committee of Twelfth National People's Congress on December 27,2015 amended the " Education Law of the People's Republic of China" by proposing "education should adhere to the education of morality education,strengthen the education of socialist core values,and enhance the educatees' social responsibility,innovation spirit and practice ability".In December 2016 at the national meeting of Ideological and political work,the CPC Central Committee General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the foundation of high school is to strengthen moral education and cultivate people.The " construction regulations of ordinary college counselor team "(Ministry of Education No.43)issued on October 1,2017 suggested that universities should adhere to the moral education as the central link.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that we should implement the fundamental task of cultivating people,advance the development of quality education,promote education fairness,and cultivate socialist builders and successors' development in an all-around way.Teachers play a model role in strengthening moral education and cultivating people.Great learning makes a teacher;moral integrity makes a model.As the guider of the growth of college students,the counselors shoulder the responsibility of educating people,therefore,to cultivate a team of professional counselors plays a key role in the moral education.Considering the actual situation of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges in Hebei province,we need to strengthen the professionalization of counselor team in the new situation of ideological and political education.With the expansion of higher education enrollment and lowering of the threshold,there are many new situations and new challenges in higher vocational education in Hebei province,mainly in: firstly,the source of students is becoming more complex.Students from senior middle schools,or Professional,Technical and Polytechnic Schools can enter a college through national college entrance examination or a separate entrance examination.Secondly,the quality of the source of students is beginning to decline.Students' ability of self-study and self-management is reduced,and the initiative of learning is reduced.Thirdly,the difference between the individual students is enlarged.All these have brought unprecedented challenges to the ideological and political education of college students and the work of the counselors.Therefore,Hebei vocational colleges must have a professional counselor team,who must understand the ideological reality of college students,study the law of college students' ideological and political education,and effectively improve the effectiveness of college students' ideological and political education.Secondly,the present situation of the construction of the counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges in Hebei requires the professionalization of the construction of the counselors.The construction of the counselor team in Hebei has made great achievements.However,there are still some notable problems in the recruitment of counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges in Hebei Province,such as recruitment,education and training,assessment and motivation,and career development.Some counselors choose this occupation as an expedient measure.They fail to design themselves and develop themselves according to their professional requirements.They cannot concentrate on their business and cannot rest at their jobs.Due to the problems of the selection mechanism,a large number of counselors lack professional background and professional psychological preparation.Counselors systematically learned Marx theory and ideological and political education,management,pedagogy and other related subjects.After entering the office,they are busy with transactional work and have no time to recharge knowledge.At the same time,due to the lack of targeted training,it is difficult for them to acquire systematic higher vocational students' knowledge of ideological and political education.Besides,counselors have been at a disadvantage in terms of positions and professional titles,which objectively reduces the level of treatment of counselors in vocational colleges,and reduces their career development space.These problems urgently require higher vocational colleges strengthen the professional construction of the counselors.The current situation and actual needs of professional counselors in higher vocational colleges of Hebei province based on the construction,this paper,based on summarizing the existing research results,analyzes the existing problems of vocational college counselors specialized construction,and puts forward some suggestions and measures.The main chapters of this paper include:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter mainly discusses the background and significance of the study,summarizes the status of domestic research,and expounds the research ideas and methods,as well as the definition of related concepts.The second chapter is an overview of the professional construction of the counselor team in higher vocational colleges.This chapter,based on the theoretical basis of this study,expounds the particularity and necessity of the professional construction of the counselor team in higher vocational colleges.The third chapter is the present situation of the professional construction of the counselor team in Hebei higher vocational colleges.Based on questionnaire survey,this chapter starts from the questionnaire design,elaborates the survey object,the investigation content and the basic situation of the survey,summarizes the problems existing in the professionalization development of Hebei higher vocational counselors,and analyzes the reasons for these problems.The fourth chapter studies the countermeasures of the professional construction of the counselors in Hebei higher vocational colleges.This chapter provides an effective way for the professional construction of the higher vocational counselors in Hebei province from the specific responsibilities of the counselors and the establishment of a standardized system of selection and
