Guiding case teaching mode are applicated in the teaching practice of the various disciplines over the years, in the education theory and practice is relatively matureand,and recognized by a large number of educators. The teaching mode have a good effect on cultivating students’ subject consciousness and potential play,and help. to students develop self-learning, cooperative learning, inquiry-based learning style. However, the research that teaching model are application in high school geography teaching is relatively small.the research which based on the constructivism learning theory, cooperative learning theory, the general high school geography new curriculum idea, the geography teaching theory, explore the operation and effectiveness of guiding case teaching mode in geography teaching in senior high school, put forward strategies and suggestions for the guiding case teaching mode in the implementation of high school geography classroom. This study mainly divided into the following parts:First, propose the research background and significance of guiding case teaching model, the status out and in.Second, theoretical the guiding case teaching mode, including the guiding case teaching mode of the concepts and theoretical basis.Third, based on the previous research and related theoretical of the guiding case teaching mode of high school, Studying the writing geography learning case and the implementation program; explores the program and implementation strategy of guiding case teaching mode; Show the teaching case which guiding case teaching mode how to used in "natural water cycle" of high school "Geography 1".The fourth part is through carries on the questionnaire survey to Xichong school,summarizes the implementation effectiveness and existing problems of guiding case teaching mode, puts forward some suggestions on implementing the guiding case guidance.In the end, generalize the treatise, emphasize the strength of guiding case teaching model, how to better ues guiding case teaching mode in high school geography.
