With the wide implementation of new college entrance examination mode in Zhejiang province,researches on high school teaching under the background of reform become the focus of public attention. Teaching methods are means of teaching activities people take, which would affect the effectiveness of teaching practice. Studying on the influence of new college entrance examination on teaching methods meets the requirements of curriculum criteria for capacity-building,as well as the requirements for development of geography teaching.Literature summary,survey research as well as comprehensive analysis are main methods applied in this paper,with which we made surveys and analysis on changes of geography teaching in high school. In addition, based on the analysis for examination questions’type,we get the requirement new college entrance examination system for teaching methods is focusing on students’ capability-building and autonomy. Currently,there has some problems with teaching methods applied in geography subject, such as single teaching method,class schedule is not reasonable,and guide for independent study is not fully as well. At last,taking compulsory one for example,I choose《The distribution as well as seasonal moves of air pressure and wind band》 for related designation to reflect the requirement of new college entrance system.
