The O2O teaching mode is a new teaching mode that combines online teaching with classroom teaching.And it has the advantages of enhancing students' independent learning capacity,promoting knowledge development.It has gradually been widely used in teaching practice.Regional cognitive ability is the foundation of senior high school's core literacy and the key to improving the core literacy of senior high school.Therefore,it is of vital importance to strengthen the cultivation of senior high school students' regional cognitive ability.On the basis of reading a large amount of literature,consulting relevant experts and front-line teachers,questionnaires were designed on the application of O2O teaching mode and regional cognitive ability.Taking the Experimental Senior High School of Guan County,Liaocheng City in Shandong Province as an example,the current situation of O2O teaching mode application was investigated,and cultivation of regional cognitive ability was analyzed.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The O2O teaching mode has advantages over traditional teaching mode in terms of learning initiative,learning interest,personalized learning and knowledge development.Among them,the O2O teaching mode has a more obvious role in promoting knowledge understanding,teamwork ability and communication ability,and it has been recognized by teachers and students.For students,the most obvious advantage is freedom of study,which is not limited by time and space.Secondly,it stimulates students' interest in learning and widens their knowledge.Finally,it improves network operation skills and can communicate between teachers and students at all times and places.For teachers,the advantage of promoting teaching and learning is the most obvious.Secondly,it can expand teaching time and space,improve network operation skills.Finally,it can build a harmonious teacher-student relationship.(2)The O2O teaching mode has brought some problems to students.Among them,students believe that the biggest drawback of this teaching mode is the inefficiency of learning caused by unskilled network operation.Secondly,learning is susceptible tointerference from bad website information.Finally,it is more likely to occur in job copying and increase learning burden by taking more time to check data.Teachers believe that students are most affected by the interference of network information to the teaching mode.Secondly,it is more likely to occur in job copying,and network operation are unskilled.Finally,it takes more time looking at information so that the burden of learning increased.Many factors will in turn affect teachers' O2O teaching,such as online response is not timely,hardware and software operations are not skilled,teaching content is difficult to organize and it takes more rest time..The most important factor affecting the promotion and application of O2O teaching mode is that teachers' traditional teaching concepts are difficult to change.Secondly,the network technology is not skilled and the school funds are insufficient,the software and hardware are not enough.Finally,it is difficult for students to adapt to the new teaching mode.(3)In view of the shortcomings of O2O teaching mode in teaching,from the perspectives of schools,teachers,students,parents,we have proposed improvement measures such as increasing funding,strengthening network supervision,organizing network teaching and training,and strengthening ideological guidance and supervision,and using this teaching mode to improve students' regional cognitive ability.(4)Based on the analysis results of the questionnaire survey and the proposed improvement measures,from the aspects of regional location,regional characteristics,regional differences and connections,regional development,etc.,this paper uses the O2O teaching mode to design the teaching by taking the case of the People's Education Senior High School Geography Compulsory Three,"Treatment of Desertification-Taking Northwest China as an Example".
