| With the rapid development of the political, economic, science and technology of the today’s world, human life level has reached the unprecedented new heights. Countries all over the world pay more and more attention to the development of science and technology, strengthening and expanding the science and technology is rooted in the basis of national science education, science education the plays important role in basic education.China is a developing country, the science education of basic education of China still has some problems, the citizen’s science literacy level has not reached the requirements of the development of today’s world, in order to enhance and improve the citizen’s scientific literacy, and meeting the needs of the development of the Time further. In 2001, our country ministry of education promulgated compulsory education science(grade 3-6) curriculum standards(experiment draft), it means that the primary school science education in China face the new starting point and challenge, and it is also the first about the primary school science education curriculum standards in our country, it is very meaning. Compared with science and education of the western developed countries, the development of primary school science education in our country is late, however, the science education of western developed countries such as America, Canada and other countries have become increasingly mature, the experience of implementing science education is especially rich, so comparing and analyzing with developed countries’ science curriculum standard is a kind of the important means of studying science education advantage from western countries. In 2008, the Ontario of Canada ministry of education promulgated the science and technology of Canada(grade 1-8) curriculum standards(2007 edition), this new curriculum standards is modified and perfect for science curriculum standards(1998 version).In today’s world the internationalized education development is very popular, the relationship between colleges and universities all over the world is very close, under the international exchange of education and cultural background, China and Canada together carry out the "China – Canada the reciprocal learning of teacher education and school education " project, this study belongs to the project of sub-project of the science education subjects in the study, this article will lay the good foundation for the research progress of the sub-project of the science education through the study.The author will analyze and compare the latest primary science curriculum standards of China and Canada, first of all, the author got firsthand text information of the project through the official channels, and the English version of Canada’s primary school science curriculum standard was translated comprehensively, then summarizing the research of primary school science curriculum standards between the two countries, and apply the literature method, comparison method, statistical analysis method to the analysis and comparison of structure framework of curriculum standards, curriculum goal and curriculum idea, knowledge content, evaluation, implementation recommendation.In the aspect of structure frame work, the setting of structure of primary school science curriculum standards between the two countries is similar, but the gap between texts’ capacity is larger, so the priorities are different. In the aspect of curriculum goal and the idea, two countries all attach importance to improve the students’ scientific inquiry ability, taking the student as the center, but there are also differences, so that highlighting the differences of social culture and education background of two countries. In the aspect of knowledge content standards, there are three aspects, they are scientific inquiry, scientific knowledge, attitudes and values emotional, and the knowledge breadth and depth of specific subject knowledge are compared and analyzed, and the difference of breadth and depth of scientific knowledge is analyzed. Science and knowledge content is complied with the development of students’ cognitive, promoting the comprehensive development of students. In the aspect of evaluation, there is a big difference, the evaluation system of Canada is very complete. In the aspect of implementing suggestions, the emphasis of two countries is different, teaching suggestions is more comprehensive and extensive in Canada.Based on the above the basis of comparative analysis, summarizing the intercommunity and differences between Canada and China’s the primary school science curriculum standards, the author comes up with some advices and enlightenments for the reform of the primary school science education of our country. |
