This thesis focuses on the influence of INGO(International Non-Governmental Organizations) on the political development of a country, including the content and manner of the influence, as well as people’s remarks on it. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Color Revolution started to take place in Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and other former Soviet Union countries one by one, in which some INGO with western background played a vital role. Kyrgyzstan, being one of the former Soviet republics and lying in an important and strategic geographical location, has always been wanted by great powers. After the independence of this country, some INGO swarmed into Kyrgyzstan under the cover of open political environment. That’s why Kyrgyzstan is called "the Country of INGO". In 2005, the Tulip Revolution took place in this country. INGO, as a special political power, was an important part in the revolution. Thus, it remains to be an important political power of Kyrgyzstan in the days after the revolution. So the study on the influence of INGO on Kyrgyzstan’s political development is representative and typical. This thesis explains the concept, characteristics and functions of INGO, as well as the concept and connotation of political development first. And then it analyzes the factors of INGO’s active role in Kyrgyzstan from the perspectives of politics, economy and society. Later, this thesis lists out several representative INGO in Kyrgyzstan and summarizes their different features. At last, it focuses on the analysis of the manner and content of INGO’s influence on Kyrgyzstan’s political development. There are two kinds of influence, one is favorable and the other is unfavorable.Favorable influence includes promoting the progress of political democratization and accelerating the formation of civic society. And the unfavorable influence mainly include losing independence in country’s development and street politics challenging national dignity.Through this study, we can find that INGO’s existence is necessary in some extent, especially under the background of globalization. Because no country can cut off its connection with the outside world and forbid INGO’s activities. So, we shouldalso pay attention to the perniciousness and manage it according to the law. Therefore, the study on how to strengthen management on INGO and how to draw on advantages and avoid disadvantages should be carried out seriously by many developing countries including China.
