The thesis issued psychological self-evaluation scale(SCL-45) and social trait anxiety scale to selected overweight and obesity students of universities in Xinjiang for investigation and research of their psychological health status. In addition, the thesis also analyzed psychological health status of overweight and obesity students of universities in Xinjiang. As an important area which enjoys great support from the China, Xinjiang boasts of numerous ethnic groups. Education and cultivation concerning university students in Xinjiang appear very important. The thesis aims to offer theoretical references and bases to psychological health improvement of overweight and obesity students of universities in Xinjiang by investigating, researching,understanding and analyzing, and comparing psychological health status of overweight and obesity students of universities in Xinjiang.The investment and research outcome indicates:(1)Positive detection rate of psychological health problems of overweight and obesity students in local universities registered 15.91%.(2) Obesity university students presented different types and intensities of psychological problems. Compared with norms of national peers around the country, they tended to suffer somatic symptoms,compulsive symptoms,anxiety,terror,metal diseases,hostile emotions,paranoid psychology,and other psychological problems. Compared with norms of nationwide university students,they were score lower in terms of 9 symptom factors. They showed significant differences in compulsive, anxious,and paranoid factors,and highly significant differences in personal relationships and depression factors.(3) All factor of obesity males gained a score lower than females,but performed better overall than females in psychological health. They presented significant difference in anxiety symptom factors.(4) Psychological health level of obesity university students in urban areas appears higher than that of rural areas. The thesis offered feasible suggestions for above-mentioned questions.(5) Han students in obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility and phobic higher Han Students obsessive-compulsive symptoms and interpersonal sensitivity higher than minority college students; and minority college students anxiety, hostility, terror, paranoia and psychotic factor scores higher than the Han college students.(6)Overweight and obesity in Xinjiang College Students’ scores in different grades contrast to the situation from good to bad results are: junior college, college senior, freshman, sophomore.(7)Overweight and obesity College Students in Xinjiang, girls overall, NE dimension score higher than boys; boys on the SP, SC dimension score higher than girls.(8)Overweight and obesity in addition to students from the town of human dimension concerns negative evaluation(NE) on slightly lower than the overweight and obese students from rural areas.(9)Overweight and obese college students of different nationalities in Xinjiang on social physique anxiety contrast, minority scores on each dimension were higher than Han students.(1) Consciously cultivate personal psychological health and learn adjust one’s own emotions.(2) Arrange appropriate learning tasks, and set practical objectives.(3) Arrange one’s life reasonably and reliance the living pace.(4) Establish good personal relationships and learn to love others.
