At present, the phenomenon that postgraduates work as the pluralistic counselor in colleges and universities has become common, the number has exceeded the number of full-time counselor. Historically, hiring pluralistic counselors has been an important strategy for colleges and universities to construct the team of counselors.Realistically, the scale of the undergraduate student in colleges and universities expanded and the undergraduate student affairs became more and more complex,factors such as manning quotas limited makes the demand of pluralistic counselors more and more prominent. Meanwhile, some graduate students(mostly postgraduate students) willing to work as the pluralistic counselor to enrich and steel themselves, ”Three assistance” provisions of the postgraduate management also worked. Postgraduate pluralistic counselors is consistent with the construction principle that full-time and part-time combined, and in fact it provides a way for colleges and universities to add the number of counselor team and optimize the structure of counselor team. Postgraduate pluralistic counselors has a feature of multiple roles, without any doubt, they will endure the conflict of value in the mind.In view of the college and university are exploring the relative standard and long-term system of postgraduate pluralistic counselor at present, to analysis the value conflict of they has practical significance.In this paper, through two methods of questionnaire survey and case analysis to research the phenomenon that postgraduates work as the pluralistic counselor, and analyze the benefit and influence that bring by postgraduates work as the pluralistic counselor for postgraduate individual, the postgraduate education and management department, the undergraduate student work department. Through analysis and demonstration, on the one hand, to verify postgraduates work as the pluralistic counselor can bring the idea of "mutual benefit", but on the other hand, it also found some problems that arise from the value conflict which needs to be solved. Colleges and universities hire postgraduate pluralistic counselors, for postgraduate themselves,it can effectively get personal development and livelihoods satisfy at the same time;For the postgraduate education and management department, it can promote management and service jointly; For the undergraduate student work department, it can promote the sustainable development of the counselor team. However, during the stage that postgraduates work as pluralistic counselors, there must exist some conflictproblems such as academic development and part-time business, tutorial system and collective system in postgraduate management, specialization, professionalization and affairs in counselor works.The difficult problem which bring by the value conflict must be solved in the coordination and unity of the various value perspectively. To construct the system of postgraduate pluralistic counselor, from the macro, it must innovate ideas, unify the system construction and the postgraduate development, handle the relationship between short-term benefits and long-term interests; from the micro, it should to implement centralized selection system, combine the business training and talent cultivation, evaluate scientifically and included it in innovation credits, innovate the form of “Reserve” to guarantee the science and stability of the team of counselor.
