Study On The Construction Of Counselors In Higher Medical Colleges And Universities

With the development of our national higher education, college students’ ideological education and management gradually become a very important issue for the administration in colleges and universities. And as the main force of college students’ work, college counselors have been paid increasingly attention due to their importance in knowledge education, management education and service education. Especially for the medical colleges which are responsible for cultivating medical staff for the future of our country, the impact of college counselors on the medicos’ ethics and values are particularly remarkable.However, the team building status of our national college counselors is not so satisfying due to the reasons such as the definition of college counselors’job responsibility is unclear, the safeguard mechanism is imperfect, etc, in addition of the higher demand put forward by college students’ work under the new situation, result in the exposure of series of problems related to the team building of college counselors.Based on plenty of research literature about team building of college counselors from home and abroad, the paper make research on the issue of team building of medical college counselors through summarizing and analyzing the current status and long-term problems of team building of college counselors, as well as combining the characteristics of medical colleges, and then find out the influencing factors and put forward the suggestions for the improvement for team building of medical college counselors, including:Setup long-term mechanism for the team building of college counselors:Promoting scientific management of college counselors team; Improving the compensation package and work environment.Further enhance professionalization of team building of college counselors:Perfecting the recruitment and selection system for college counselors; Perfecting the performance appraisal system for college counselors; Setup promotion and development system for college counselors.Further enhance specialization of team building of college counselors:Specifically defining the responsibility of college counselors; Enhancing the training of knowledge and skill for college counselors; Establishing the special comprehensive major for the college counselors.
