The problem of rural education calls all circles ’attention,research on the disadvantaged position of rural students in the entrance examination is there for all to see. The weak position of the rural family in the capital is a big dilemma for rural candidates,which leads to rural students’ disadvantaged position in the National College Entrance Examination. Although the capital rural households own is very similar, the educational outcomes in those rural families are significantly different. The students who are admitted to the university are concentrated in certain families.Siblings are the peer groups that our contact firsly,which is essential to us.Based on previous research,the phenomenon of arge family in the countryside is a factor that hinders the development of rural education. Few scholars have paid close attention to the positive influence of siblings for rural students. From the perspective of positive impact of peer groups for rural students, The research assumes that family siblings’ effect is the important factor to facilitate rural students in getting the education status.This research selects 40 rural college students as the research object, the main method is the semi structural interview me, and simple statistical analysis. Firstly,this research describes the basic situation of rural college students and their living environment,and suveys the basic situation of college entrance examination.Through the survey,we have come to the conclusion:the students who have the siblings that are college students have more advantages in the National College Entrance Examination. Through the analysis of these qualitative data,the influence of siblings in the national college entrance examination were divided into two categories: incentive and restraint mechanism. The incentive mechanism is classified into three kinds: the strength of the model; peer support; peer envy and competition. Restraint mechanism: peer instruction; peer supervision.Then, this research studies the influence of peer groups on the rural students, investigates the specific role of peer groups, through this research we can further reveal the essence of the plight of rural education and provide more accurate policy to develop the rural education.
