With the development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,people require more on the convenience and comfort of home life. Moreover, the rapiddevelopment of IOT (Internet of Things) technology also promotes the advancement ofintelligent home. Smart home system, as an important application of IOT technology, hasbecome a hot research either at home or abroad currently. After a fully research of IOTtechnology and smart home system architecture, on a basic of comparing the characteristics ofthe current domestic and international mainstream smart home system, this paper presents aset of smart home system solution. Also, we design and realize the home gateway system, thecore equipment of smart home system.In this paper, we design the home gateway system with three modules in a combination ofembedded technology, computer network technology and wireless sensor network technology.The three modules are ZigBee network module, protocol conversion module and the remotecommunication module. ZigBee network module uses the CC2530chip of TI Company. Thischip manages the ZigBee network as the coordinator. We also developed a ZigBee networkprogram based on the Z-stack protocol stack. The protocol conversion module adoptsS3C6410module which is for embedded Linux OS, with carrying the necessary peripheralcircuit to ensure the hardware implementation. We designed the protocol conversion programbased on the embedded Linux environment and Qtopia platform. The remote communicationmodule mainly realizes the home gateway for Internet connectivity, and the transmit serverprogram through DHCP.Finally, after the designing and realizing of home gateway system, we finish the testprogram of family internal network, and test three functional modules of home gateway,ZigBee network module, protocol conversion module and the remote communication module.The test result shows that home gateway system meets the requirement of system design,achieves the desired design goals and has nice practical value. |
