Study On Wuhan Airport Economic Development

Airport economy, as a kind of new economic form and high-end regional development mode, relies on airport resources, which plays more and more important role in promoting regional economic development. Wuhan Tianhe international airport is a 4E international airport, and is also a first class national central China’s largest comprehensive hub airport. Wuhan airport economic zone centers on the Tianhe airport will be a powerful engine to push Wuhan economic boom and rising in central China.This paper uses literature search, field investigation, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and system analysis and other methods to analyze the industrial types, airport-related economic industry layout, spatial structure and development model. Basing on the successful experience at home and abroad, this paper investigated the airport-related economic present situation of the development of Wuhan airport-related economic, favorable and unfavorable conditions, and preliminarily determines the Wuhan airport economic function orientation, key industry types and the industrial spatial layout, and puts forward counter-measures to the development of Wuhan airport-related economic. This paper try to through the development of Wuhan airport-related economic, cultivate new airport industry cluster and foster new regional economic growth, and promote the coordination development between different industries, which optimize the regional industrial structure and urban space layout, at the same time, make Wuhan airport economic zone to be a of economic development zone that is "industrial concentration, talents together, distinct characteristics and vibrant", and a livable new city in the north of Wuhan.This paper mainly includes the following six parts:The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly illustrates the thesis writing background and significance, the domestic and foreign research reviewed, the main research method and the main content and the technical research. The second chapter is theoretical foundation of airport-related economic, and make the basic theory become more distinct. The key point is to illustrate the connotation, features, industrial types and spatial structure and other basic theory of the airport-related economic, which laid a solid theoretical foundation for the functional positioning, industry selection and spatial structure layout of empirical studies of the Wuhan airport economic zone. The third chapter basically analyses the strategic significance of the development of Wuhan airport-related economic, and uses SWOT method to analyze the Wuhan development airport-related economic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges. Clearly see the development of Wuhan airport economic advantages and disadvantages for the industry behind a reasonable choice of the spatial distribution patterns and industry provided the preconditions put forward, but also major issues for the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions provided. The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of the front chapters, made clearly to the specific function orientation, key industry selection and spatial structure layout of Wuhan airport economic zone. The fifth chapter is based on the analysis of main problems about the development of Wuhan airport-related economic, puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from different angles. The sixth chapter is epilogue, which expounds the main research work and conclusions, and makes further prospect the subsequent research.
