Research On Spatial Collaborative Development Of Wuhan And Xiaogan Airport Economic Zone

In today's world of economic globalization,time value has become a major factor in influencing cost recovery and income accounting of enterprises or even the whole society.With the development of air transport industry,the airport economy has become the important economic force which is pursued over the country and drives area economic development.As a new compound economic form which adapts to the development of global or regional integration,the airport economy has a bright future.However,both itself and its carrier,the airport economic zone,have a higher demand for collaborative development,especially when the airport economic area covers the administrative region.Meantime,the difficulty of collaborative cooperation appears.Therefore the importance and urgency to study about the collaborative and cooperative development strategy is increasing.For the Wuhan and Xiaogan airport economic zone is covering two cities,Wuhan and Xiaogan,and their three districts,and there should be different considerations for the Wuhan metropolitan area,airport economic zone and the administrative body,it is particularly important to put forward the cooperative development strategy for Wuhan and Xiaogan airport economic zone in both the external and internal aspects.There are four parts in this paper.The first section is basic research of the relevant concepts of the airspace and the spatial coordination and analysis of the development trend of airport economic zone.And the second section presents the development process of air economy area in China and abroad,analyzing two major administrative-division-covering construction samples which are Heathrow Airport Economic Zone in London and Baiyun Airport Economic Zone in Guangzhou.Then,from two external and internal aspects,it summarized the experience and lessons of the synergistic development between the airport and the airspace economic zone and among the administrative blocks of their own airport economic zone.The third section mainly studies the Wuhan and Xiaogan Economic Zone.According to its core elements,the Wuhan and Xiaogan airport economic zone has passenger operating characteristics,and it has just entered the airport economy growing period.Nevertheless,there still are political and homogeneous problems in the industrial function,and uneven road network distribution as well as difficulty in forming transportation junction.Besides,there are also problems of sharp difference in scale of construction of three districts in two cities and land waste.The fourth part discusses the synergetic development strategy from the external and internal levels.From the outer area level,namely,the Wuhan city circle level,Tianhe Airport and its airport economic zone should be built with Edong Airport economic zone and Xianning Airport economic zone in future to achieve functional dislocation development,and the three zones would build a comprehensive link of the transport network and establish the city circle airport cooperation mechanism.From the perspective of the airport economy area,it should finely integrate the spatial structure across the three districts,overall optimize industrial types and echelon layout,and establish multimodal transport three-dimensional traffic sharing system.This paper hopes to promote the breakthrough of administrative barriers and establish effective cooperation mechanism through the research and discussion on the coordinated development of Wuhan and Xiaogan Economic Zone.In addition,proceeding from the advantages of regional overall development,the advantages of regional complementarity will realize and the greater regional space co-ordination opportunities and motivation will generate as well.In this way,with seized opportunities,the faster and better development will be achieved.
