With China’s accession to the WTO and the rapid growth of the domesticeconomy, the construction market environment has undergone dramatic changes,construction companies have become increasingly competitive, enterprises, theaverage profitability of gradual decline. Facing tough market conditions, constructionenterprises in the implementation of cost leadership strategy to capture the market atthe same time, we must practice itself, strengthen the project cost control and improveoverall project management level, in order to have the strength to achieve competitiveprices, to the fierce competition in the market in steady progress.China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Co., Ltd. is part of the worldtop500enterprises of large state-owned China Construction Co. Three decades ofdevelopment has formed its own cost management system, but the author’s personalexperience to analyze its cost management system, cost management knowledge, costestimation, cost control, project information management, there are still manyproblems. In this paper, the author familiar built in eight innings as the research object,the construction enterprises in the cost management common problems presentedimprovement program, we want to give some reference cost management ofconstruction enterprises.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction,describes the significance of the topic, purpose and research status; Chapter II built ineight of the status and problems of cost management analysis, noting its costmanagement system, cost management knowledge, cost estimates and cost controlproblems. Chapter belt through access to a large literature, to ascertain the cost of theproject management and project management theory and method. Chapter IV with atheory to guide practice, built in eight project cost control problems in themanagement proposed in the project should be built in eight department costmanagement organizations, education and training, a comprehensive costmanagement, accelerate the construction of information technology improvements.Chapter V is the conclusion and outlook.
