Coking industry recently is slowing down by the impact of the economic policies. Theappearance of the limited production policy does not make this better. So findingavailable energy-saving measures to tap the potentialities and increase the profit isimportant, through figuring out the energy structure and energy-saving system of thecoking industry. This paper analyzes the riser tube energy recovery, CDQ waste heatrecovery and reclamation of stack gas afterheat, and finally puts forward a new type ofheat-pipe technology to conduct the engineering project of flue gas waste heat recovery inthe coke oven of Hebei JH Co., Ltd. This paper applies project management to make aneconomical analysis of the engineering program mentioned above, which, on the onehand reconstructs the saving energy facilities of old coking industries, on the other handcontributes to the new friendly coking industries.The theoretical exposition of the prior preparation to project approval, the study of theproject was focused on the paper. Additionally, it points out the practicable of the projectby analyzing technology, economy, and estate of engineering construction. The paper alsofocuses on a deeper technical understanding of the acid dew point, heat-pipe life,arrangement of the waste heat boiler and automation control. From the aspects ofeconomy, estate, an analysis about the investment, profit, benefit, abilities of making andreturning money is presented. Considering the safety, quality, schedule and cost of theproject management, the paper proposes a new reclamation of stack gas afterheat schemeand explores energy-saving ways in coking industry. The paper introduces the projectmanagement to the reclamation of stack gas afterheat to guide, monitor and manage theflue gas waste heat recovery, and makes sure the popularization and application of thisnew scheme in the whole coking industry, which can contribute to the technicalinnovation, energy conservation, emission reduction, and efficiency enhancing of cokingindustries.
