Cloth patchwork art in our country has a long development history. The craftand techniques are excellent. The unique aesthetic taste and rich carrier formattracted many fans. In recent years in China, there is a cloth patchwork art upsurge.The pace of modern life is getting quick and quick, travel has become an importantoption for people to relax their mind and alleviate their pressure. Along with thepatchwork boom across our country, the figure of clothing patchwork souvenirs canseen everywhere in Shaanxi tourism souvenir market. However, the development ofthose souvenirs is still lag behind, such as technique, modeling and practical aspects.This paper is researched on the innovation design of Shaanxi clothing patchworksouvenirs, based on the result from research of the combination of Shaanxi traditionalclothing patchwork art and tourism souvenir. This research is aim to provide animportant theory reference for enlarging custom crowd, and to improve&promotespirit value and use value of Shaanxi cloth patchwork souvenirs.This paper is mainly about the following four aspects, and then sums up eachresults:1. Through the cloth patchwork art history source, development situation and carrierform research summary, we analyze the cloth patchwork art unique technique,material, color and design features of patchwork art aesthetic characteristics from thestructure form, color collocation, technique three aspects analyzes the patchwork artin the application of modern design points.2. Based on Shaanxi regional characteristics, cultural characteristics and relevant artcharacteristic analysis, we researched on Shaanxi traditional cloth patchwork art.Referring to the carrier form, color, pattern and material characteristic, wesummarized Shaanxi traditional cloth patchwork art characteristics. According tothe market investigation and the view of the different gender, age, the questionnairesurvey from professional people, we analyze the present situation of Shaanxi cloth patchwork souvenirs development, and the consumer purchasing psychology. Atlast, we summarize the problems of Shaanxi cloth patchwork souvenirs. The reasonsshown in these aspects: there is no obvious regional characteristic, lack of innovationof design and carrier form, packaging design lags behind and the product is not be abrand.3. Through the study of Shaanxi patchwork souvenirs existing problems, we comeup with the necessity of innovation design, and then research on Shaanxi patchworksouvenirs innovation design conception strategy. From Shaanxi patchworksouvenirs design positioning, theme, carrier form, and packaging appearance etc, weput forward to innovative design idea with emotional design concept and green designthought and the brand strategy. The following is conclusion of innovation newdesign idea:1) Through the design position and innovation idea of Shaanxi cloth patchworksouvenirs, we suggest the target people are not only tourists. It shouldsatisfy the demand of local people and young people at the same time.2) Through the innovation design of design theme, carrier form and packagingdesign of Shaanxi cloth patchwork souvenirs, to improve its culture valueand usage value.3) Through injecting emotional design idea and green design mind, to enrich itsspirit and culture connotation with sustainable development theme of greenenvironmental protection and resource conservation.4) Through the brand strategy research, to be helpful for Shaanxi clothpatchwork souvenirs become different from other competitors, and to expandits brand effect.4. Combining with the above innovation design conception strategy researchconclusions of Shaanxi province patchwork souvenirs, we make a design practice.By the design practice to verify the theory research, and provide example for Shaanxicloth patchwork souvenirs in innovation design exploration.5. In conclusion, the patchwork art basic features and aesthetic characteristics arestudied and concluded. Meanwhile, we explore the traditional cloth patch art in allusion to Shaanxi province area. Then Shaanxi patchwork souvenirs developmentpresent situation and the existing problems are analyzed, and innovation designconception strategy theory is put forward. At last, we design practice to test theoryresearch conclusion, and use practice to verify the theory research. Not onlyexamples are provided for Shaanxi cloth patchwork souvenirs in innovation design,but it gives a beneficial practice attempt. Therefore, this paper has importantresearch significance.
