Broiler industry is very important in the China’s rural economy. After decades of sustaineddevelopment, the broiler industry has become an effective way for farmers to get rich. Jilinbroiler breeding industry has a long history, on poultry farming, the earliest records are in Shangand Zhou dynasties. As the continuing development of economy, scale livestock farming hasbecome an inevitable trend of future development. Currently, Jilin province has entered theranks of meat, chicken products, but the advantage of cost-benefit is not obvious. Therefore, asystem analysis on the situation of cost-benefit in different broiler farming scale is conducive tosustainable development in Jilin broiler industry.The main content of this article is the breeding scale on cost-benefit broiler in JilinProvince, in order to determine which breeding scale is the most appropriate on long-termdevelopment in the region, to get the maximum benefit in terms of scale farming. First, analysisthe status of Jilin broiler scale farming; Second, analysis on changes in costs and benefits ofdifferent scale broiler trends; Third, modeled by gray correlation analysis, to get the main factorson different sizes of major broiler breeding costs; Finally, establish model by gray situationdecision to determine the size of broiler breeding currently suitable or in the next period of timein Jilin province. Studies shows that:1.Jilin broiler scale farming development is stability. First, the amount of broiler breedingstock and slaughter in Jilin are growing year after year. Second, large-scale farming of broilers,broiler production in Jilin Province in Northeast China occupies an important position.Currently the farmers whose slaughter of broiler below2000is gradually reducing, indicating alarge-scale chicken farming development in Jilin Province.2.Jilin different broiler farming scale costs in concentrate feed costs are the largestcomponent, The returns to scale of different broiler farming returns to scale have largerdifferences. First, the cost of production scale in broiler farming decreased with increasing scale.The cost of production in Jilin Province, medium scale is less than the small scale, but the netprofit is more than small-scale, and broiler gains upward trend year by year. Second, concentratefeed costs, purchase price of newborn animal, labor costs and other expenses accounted formore than90%in production costs, in which the proportion of concentrate feed costs is up to70%. Otherwise, in Jilin Provincethe, costs of production and labor is higher than the national,but income is lower.So the space of scale broiler farming development in Jilin is very broad.3.The cost factors of small scale and medium-scale chicken farming in Jilin is associated with concentrate feed costs and is the most important factor affecting the cost of production,while the various other factors are all reflect its scale advantages. Therefore, the cost breakdownof scale broiler farming control has major economic significance for the development oflarge-scale breeding.4.Suitable choice of broiler breeding scale in Jilin province. Concluded that the scalechicken farming by modeling we know the bigger scale we build, the greater the combinedeffect of the measure value. Appropriate scale of Jilin in current or future period of time is themedium scale. From the national level point of view, mass-scale farming is the best.Finally, based on the analysis above, we raise the mind of development in an appropriatescale farming, increase government policy support and other policy proposals, provide areference for the economy of broiler scale farmers in Jilin.
