During the Chinese region’s economy development process, financialagglomeration becomes increasingly important in economy growth, optimization andupgrade of industrial structure and improving eco-efficiency. this thesis introduces amethod of spatial econometrics to gather empirical research about the regional(eastern, northeastern, central and western) of financial and ecological efficiency fromthe two spatial dimensions of the area of provincial and prefecture-level city. Themain contents are as follows:①According to China’s economic development data in31provinces or municipalities (hereinafter referred to as provinces) domain in2007-2011, the thesis constructs a measure of index systems of financialagglomeration and eco-efficiency, gets the index of financial agglomeration andeco-efficiency, and gives evaluation and analysis by the principal componentweighting method, fuzzy membership function method and super efficiency DEA.The thesis calculates Chinese provinces’ Moran’s I index to determine whether there isspatial correlation by spatial econometric analysis methods. On this basis, thefinancial agglomeration is classified into banking, securities, insurance, financial anddensity to test eco-efficiency’s and economic growth’s spillovers in the four regionsthrough the establishment of spatial lag model and the spatial error model.②According to the2004-2011economic growth data of112prefecture-level cities inChina, we give the comparative analysis of the four regional agglomeration ofeconomic development and eco-efficiency of the contribution by space paneleconometric model. And get the effects of various sectors of financial agglomerationeffects on economic development and eco-efficiency.
