At present, the economy of the people’s livelihood is to adapt to the newtasks in the new period in China and put forward the new strategy, also is thegovernment appeals to solve various contradictions and problems.This paper introduces the connotation, the development of the people’slivelihood and economic significance, theoretical basis, status quo, on the basis ofusing social questionnaire survey method, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methodbased on AHP is whether the current social conditions conducive to people’slivelihood in Jilin province economic development on the analysis of the problem,score, according to the results of the livelihood of the people of Jilin provinceeconomic development conditions only in the medium level. Since the economy ofthe people’s livelihood is the form, improve the economic development and thewell-being of the interactive coupling mechanism, the Jilin province economicdevelopment can play the effect of the people’s livelihood, improve people’slivelihood, the transformation of the mode of economic development andoptimization of industrial structure? To this end, this paper selects the scientific andreasonable index system and method of empowerment, compiled the Jilin provinceeconomic development comprehensive index and classification of the people’slivelihood, it is concluded that the people’s livelihood and economic developmentlevel improved steadily, but is not a balanced conclusion.
